I ordered the Vegetable Biryani as a takeaway and was very disappointed. When I previously ate this dish at the restaurant, there was no noticeable smell or taste of ghee, so I assumed it was suitable for vegans. However, the takeaway I received had a very strong ghee/butter smell, making it unsuitable for me as a vegan. I had no choice but to throw the food away, which was very wasteful. If ghee is used in this dish, it should be clearly mentioned, especially for customers with dietary restrictions.
